The Xsport team is built up from people who take extreme sports seriously and want to provide the community with a tool to help everyone enjoy their sport a little more. The tools we have developed have been designed to help users share experiences and connect through their interest. Originally set up by the development team at Ogwen Publishing xsport now includes a include a dedicated team who are here to ensure the site grows and develops into one of the most useful extreme sports websites in the world. The team is built up from a selection of professional athletes and keen amateurs who have dedicated much of their lives to extreme sports and is split up into groups of people the Mods and the Ambassadors.

The Mods

The Mods are here to keep the forum clean and tidy, every now and again someone will try to use our forum to sell dubious pharmaceuticals or kinky perversions and its the mods task to keep them out. They are also responsible for our ethics policy, although we don't believe the internet should be censored we take a hard line on anyone who would use our site to conduct anything illegal or bully another individual. The mods have the power to remove offensive posts or delete offensive users.

The mods also have the power to edit people map routes to correct spelling/grammar mistakes and remove videos/photos that breach our TOC.

The Ambassadors

The Ambassadors are a team of the best extreme sports athletes who have taken control of the various sports categories of the website. Their main role is making sure the content for their respective areas is fresh and exciting but they also play a role in encouraging people to add to the map. The Ambassadors also go out to get athlete profiles with the people you want to know about and find guest bloggers to write articles that you want to read. If you have any specific content you would like to see on XsportMap.com the ambassadors are the people to speak to.
